ProCad Designs wins Computer Graphics Award
ProCad Designs has won an award for their computer generated rendering of the Fairways Cottages at Sun Peaks. This "streetscape" was created by building the models of the homes in AutoCAD, incorporating them into a computer generated landscape in 3DViz, and mapping it into the existing background.
This area of the subdivision was only in the early stages of being cleared of vegetation when this computer generated image was created. The developer used this and other computer generated images from ProCad Designs to pre-sell units in this development. This contest was open to qualified companies across Western Canada of which 12 prizes were awarded and a calendar was produced featuring the prize winning entries.
ProCad Designs Wins Housing Award
ProCad Designshas won a Silver Thompson Okanagan Housing Award for their design of the 2001 Kamloops YMCA/YWCA Dream House!
This award is in the category of Best Single Family Detached Home Under 1799 Sqft. The design was donated to the project which is truly a community event. The home is built by the University College of the Cariboo (UCC) construction trades and is raffled off by the Kamloops YMCA/YWCA.
